Jennifer G. McIntosh was raised underneath the winding limbs of pecan trees in south. She became inspired by the beauty surrounding her growing up in South Carolina.
Southern Contemporary Artist
Jennifer studied the plein air painting technique in The South of France. She received classical painting lessons from artist William McCullough.
Jennifer was an accepted artist in the Artfields Competition in 2015 and 2016. Her work was selected by Artbox Projects International for display in Artbox Projects Zurich 1.0 in 2019. Her work was also displayed in Artbox Projects Miami during Art Basal 2019. In 2019, her portrait received acceptance letter into the BP Portrait Award in London. Unfortunately, UPS did not deliver the portrait in time for the competition. However, the acceptance was still one of the most exciting moments of her career and she continues to pursue the competition. In 2020, her work was published in Curatorial Leaders of Contemporary Art Volume 2.
Jennifer lives with her husband and two boys on McIntosh Road in South Carolina. She continues to find her greatest influences within the beauty of the Southern landscape, particularly on the farm.
